Mr. Davis has over 30 years of experience in transactions involving emerging and transitional neighborhoods in Chicago. During this time Mr. Davis, representing clients and for his own account, was involved in the development of more than 2,000 units of housing. Mr. Davis has previously served as General Counsel and Coordinator of The Chicago Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) program, and served on the Chicago Plan Commission more than 10 years. Mr. Davis is also a former Treasurer of The Public Building Commission of Chicago, and a former member of The Blue Ribbon Committee to Reform the Office of The Recorder of Deeds of Cook County. He served for 18 years on the Committee on Character and Fitness of the Supreme Court of Illinois. Mr. Davis served as a Director of RREEF America II for 11 years and is also a former Member of the Illinois State Board of Investments and Director of the NAACP Legal Defense & Educational Fund. He holds a B.A. from Grinnell College and a J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law.
