The Lakefront Phase II development is located in the Oakland community on Chicago’s South Side. This development, a former Chicago Housing Authority site, is located on Chicago’s lakefront and will eventually consist of 269 units of rental and for-sale housing. At its completion, the site will include an eight story mid-rise, a mixture of traditional Chicago flats and single-family rowhouses, and a 14 story, 86- unit tower with views of the Chicago skyline and Lake Michigan. The project features generous bay window designs that maximize the use of natural lighting, as well as environmental features such as green roofs and water conservation features. In recognition of these efforts, our first midrise building recently received a LEED Silver certification.
