We are known for our expertise and vision in developing previously neglected areas and undertaking projects others have shied away from. Our firm was a pioneer in changing the area where Cabrini Green was located. We rescued the Overton Building and the legacy of a pioneering black American. We took land cleared of notoriously bad low-income housing developments and constructed family-oriented neighborhoods. We participated in a project to take down the elevated transit lines on 63rd Street and brought daylight and new housing to a distressed area. For each our developments, we have procured all financing, interfaced with related governmental entities, and managed community outreach; we have managed design, cost-estimating, value engineering, bidding, and permitting; additionally, we have managed all construction, change orders, and construction draws through final close-out.
We have been successful integrating community outreach, supportive services, and hiring goals into the overall development of each project in partnership with our general contractor and working with numerous non-profits and social service providers.
